Short personal background
I live in Houten in the Utrecht area of the Netherlands, with my wife Sandra and two daughters Linde and Olivia. I work as a business analyst at a large Dutch bank, specialising in Credit and Counterparty risk. In my work, I try to bridge the gap between the bankers and the IT/Operations part of the organisation. This includes gathering requirements, giving presentations, performing impact analyses, etc.
I like innovative concepts and emergent behaviour: if new, unexpected things happen based on a few simple starting points. This results in my interest for (if not full comprehension of) relativity, quantum mechanics, artificial intelligence, "Mage" roleplaying and fiction. I like to think about ideas and concepts and see how far you can take them. In addition I like to read and listen about history - particular the scientific revolution - and psychology.
